The suite at Hazuki Kyoto was like stepping into a cozy oasis. Bright and airy, with stylish decor and comfy furniture. It felt like a home away from home, and I immediately felt relaxed and at ease. Perfect for me as a solo traveler looking for a place to unwind.
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the lack of a view from the suite. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I know others might not mind it at all.

The premium triple room was freshly renovated with a bathroom and separate toilets, and the location was excellent, just a short distance from Ogizuka.

Title: Charming and Convenient Stay
It would have been even better if there were more staff available to assist senior guests like myself. While the owner was friendly and helpful, having dedicated staff members, especially available to help with luggage and other needs, would have made the stay even more comfortable for senior travelers.

Mind-blowing combination of old and new, traditional Japanese charm with modern interior, super welcoming concierge, connected rooms for families, AMAZING travel tips and dinner recommendations.

We booked a triple room, it was complete with a separate bedroom and futon bed, as for instance. Plenty of food for breakfast, which was REASONABLY PRICED to satisfy everyone.

The rooms here are recently renovated and spacious. They come with a separate toilet, a separate bedroom, and even traditional tatami mats. 🌟 Plus, they have smoke detectors for added safety.

My room at Hazuki Kyoto was beautifully decorated with old charm, spacious and cozy. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. The ryokan had a common fridge and tea/coffee facilities, which were convenient. The location, although initially difficult to find, turned out to be easy to navigate once I got to know the neighborhood. I had a delightful experience at Hazuki Kyoto and would definitely stay there again if I return to Kyoto.

In an incredible location next to restaurants and bars. Spotless, new-fashioned room provided with tatami mats and a bathroom, as example.

We stayed at Hazuki for 3 nights and had an amazing time. The traditional atmosphere combined with modern comforts was fantastic. The bath was a real highlight. The owner treated us like family and even drove us to the train station. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, with a laundromat and great restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful, recommending places to eat and visit. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and full of character. We would definitely return to this gem of a property.
Would recommend this hotel.

I was delighted by the traditional Japanese decor at Hazuki Kyoto. The tatami rooms exuded warmth and serenity, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel's well-maintained common areas were easily accessible for senior guests like myself, allowing us to navigate through the property comfortably.
Perhaps the children working there could have been more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

Located in a calm neighborhood near the river. Helpful and friendly staff, even offering a ride to the train station. Unique blend of modern and traditional architecture. Renovations include heated floors. Former geisha okiya with original furniture and materials.
